If I could have my will, I would be
the American, Orthodox, G.K. Chesterton…
But as of now, I am a simple scholar,
teacher, and writer trying to follow in the footsteps of those whom I see as my
master teachers—G.K. Chesterton, yes, but also C.S. Lewis, Arthur C. Clarke,
Isaac Asimov…I am interested in seeing how all things fit together, especially
in bridging the gaps that so often seem to isolate science and philosophy, literature
and theology, from each other. Truth,
goodness, and beauty; knowledge, wonder, and mystery—these are the things that
interest me. This is where I am
beginning to bring together my thoughts on such matters.
